Family is the greatest treasure that we have, and no one can describe the importance it plays in our lives.
We can live comfortably in our house or whatever kind of dwelling place we have as long as we have our family. Yes, we can reside in a simple home and it can still be efficient for the whole household.

Home — that word has a big impact on one’s life. Having a home is also important to us and our family. This is what makes us complete. The fact that it is simple or elegant doesn’t matter as long as the people residing in it are happy.
The home brings us a safe space for our family and in turn, our family brings us happiness. That is why our families and homes are important.
In our minds, having a simple home with a basic set up inside is enough. A basic white wallpaper, a living room set with a sofa, and a dining table set are the primary components inside our houses.
We don’t give much thought to styling our living areas as long as we are content with what we have.
However, we can still improve this kind of setup since all human beings were formed to have a creative mind in terms of the art that we base on ourselves.
A living space’s style has become increasingly important to us and is something that we want to enliven our homes with. Despite this, ‘style‘ is a very personal notion, so why should anyone look to employ someone else, such as an interior designer, to tell them what is stylish?
Interior Design
Interior Design is so much more than “what looks right”. It is about taking a holistic view of what we like and enjoy and finding an artistic way to make use of the space that we have.
Whether it’s buying a glazed door to get that posh look or installing a pool fence for safety, there’s always something you can do to take your house to the next level.
This sounds very hard to do especially if you are not into designing nor arts but bringing out your own style matters because your house is your own and it should thus be tailored to fit your own tastes.
No one can judge how we enliven our homes, and through the use of our own style and design, we ourselves can become, as one were to call it, an ‘interior designer‘.
Make it Happen
Whatever changes you do in your own house should not matter to anyone else. We are the only ones who can describe our own art, we just have to express it loudly, be proud of our choices, and believe that we can bring our visions to fruition.
No matter what style or design you think of, don’t hesitate to carry it out – just make it happen.
Sometimes, you can make the interior design of a home more attention-grabbing by changing some of the furniture, colors, textures, and other elements it already has.
There is a big soothing effect on our family when some alterations happen inside the house.
For example, when you change the color of your wall into a light color (i.e. sky blue, baby pink, lime green) or use stylish wallpapers, it becomes more attractive to the eyes and brings positive energy to the room.
Nonetheless, before making changes in our house, whether the color wall, furniture, or textiles, we need the opinion of our family members first.
After all, ‘interior design is not always based on doing everything by the book, but it is also based on the opinions of each member of the family.
Yes, interior design professionals complete a degree course and undergo training, but did you also know that this is because they have a passion for designing houses?
No one can really be called an ‘expert’ in terms of interior design because, in different countries, there are some unique styles and designs that only those in that particular country can appreciate.

Hollywood Regency
One of my favorite styles is Hollywood Regency. This style was quite popular from the ’40s to the ’60s and was used back since the mid-’90s.
Hollywood Regency is one of the most timeless yet fun interior design styles out there as it delightfully blends Art-Deco-inspired touches and silhouettes with a grown-up sense of high-polished glamor.
Coastal Interior Design
Next to my favorite style is Coastal because although I’m not one for themed interior design styles of any kind, there’s something novel and reassuring about an edited mix of coastal and beach house elements that can truly bring a room together.
Coastal interior design notes feature light, bright, and airy environments often dreamed up in vibrant neutrals to soak up the sun rays.
Common coastal colors include shades of light blues and greens inspired by the ocean along with an array of creams for a relaxed yet elegant finish.

You can start re-making and improving the vibe in your house by doing the art inside your mind. A good place to begin is simply searching for any of the basic styles that I mentioned above to be your pattern or guide.
You don’t really have to copy the motif that you chose but instead, you can just slightly study the details of that design, grab some ideas, and then input your own style to it.
